Out Of Control
![]() |
The village is taking steps to remedy the extraordinarily high grass at the apparently vacant property at 117½ North Ridge St. Tuesday night the Rye Brook Board of Trustees agreed to serve the owner of the property by mail a written notice requiring the owner to comply with the village code regarding property maintenance. If the owner fails to comply within five days after service, the Director of Public Works shall correct the violation by cutting the grass and the owner shall pay the village all costs in connection with it within 30 days after its completion. If the owner does not remit payment within 30 days, the costs incurred would become a lien on the premises.
