Peter W. LaBella: Civil engineer

Peter W. LaBella, 77, a lifelong resident of Port Chester, died July 22, 2010 at Greenwich Hospital.

He was born July 2, 1933 in Port Chester to Arva (Sabia) and the late Peter Angelo LaBella and was raised and educated in Port Chester.

His academic accomplishments included graduating from Port Chester High School, Westchester Community College, NYU and UConn.

He was a Civil Engineer and was an on-site pioneer of many major premier commercial developments in New York State.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Arva.

He was the loving father of Maria, Peter, Diana, Kristina and her husband John Triolo and adored grandfather of Peter E., Nicole, Dominick, Giovanni, Frank, Emma; great-grandfather of Anthony; beloved uncle to John and his wife Paula Rossi, Salvatore and his wife Kathy Casino; great-uncle to Adam and John Jr. and brother of Katherine and her husband, the late Salvatore Casino.

He was predeceased by his sister Rose and her husband, the late Frank Arbusto.
